At 4:40 p.m. Sunday, the Walkerton Police Department received an emergency call from a woman at 128 Woodcreek Drive. According to police, the woman on the call was screaming for a man to put the gun down.

When officers arrived, 67-year-old Kerry Reed had barricaded himself in the home, police said.
