Man kidnaps baby for money, cold medicine

Tuesday, a two year old child in Ohio was returned to his mother, after police say a family friend kidnapped the infant and demanded money or cold medicine to get him back.
The incident took place just a few miles away from this apartment complex.
Someone there called 9-1-1 to report a meth lab.
While police were there the mother ran over to officers showing them a text with a picture of the baby and a message saying "consider this a ransom I want my money."
Police were led to the apartment where they found the baby.
"I seen them knocking on the door and I seen them put her to the ground," says Barbara Welch, a neighbor in the apartment complex.
The man accused of kidnapping the baby is behind bars tonight charged with kidnapping.
