Man nearly killed when tree crashes into home

WALKERTON, Ind. -- A tree came crashing down on a Koontz Lake home early Tuesday morning. The man inside says if it wasn't for a weather app on his phone, he would be dead.
The vibrating notification woke Marcus Houser up from a deep sleep. He woke up and seconds later, a tree came crashing through his bedroom roof.
“I feel very fortunate that nothing happened to me,” says Houser.
