Man sentenced for leaving the scene of an accident

            ELKHART, Ind. — The man accused of hitting a bicyclist and severely injuring her in summer of 2012 has been sentenced.
28-year-old Pasquale Rulli pleaded guilty in January to charges of leaving the scene.
Saturday night, Michiana News Channel reported that he has been given a 1 1/2 year sentence. Rulli also received 120 hours of community service.
His driver's license will be suspended for 3 1/2 years.
Rulli struck 17-year-old Zion Carlstrom and fled the scene.
The teen is still recovering from the crash.
