Man sentenced to 14 years for possession with intent to distribute

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A South Bend man has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for possession with intent to distribute more than 500 grams of meth, according to the US Attorney’s Office.

George Fowler Jr, 33, was sentenced to 14 years followed by 5 years of supervised release.

Court records say investigators searched Fowler’s house in August 2020 and discovered a kilogram of methamphetamine, over 350 grams of heroin, and nearly 150 grams of fentanyl along with four handguns and $57,000 cash.
