Man sentenced to a decade in prison for pursuit that left one officer injured
Kosciusko County Jail KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind -- A Kosciusko County man will spend a decade in prison for his role in a confrontation that left one police officer injured.

The confrontation happened this past June 2025. Walter drove off after police attempted to pull him over. After a short pursuit, he rammed his car into a parked Warsaw Police Department vehicle as the officer was exiting it. That officer was treated for a leg injury.
After the crash, Walter drove off, before turning around to ram the same vehicle again. The involved officer then fired his gun once, striking Walter's vehicle.
