Man shot in leg near downtown South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend Police are investigating a shooting at the corner of Olive and Frederickson near downtown. The shooting happened around 3 p.m.
When police got to the scene, the man was lying in the street with a gunshot wound to his leg.
Police say the shooting may have happened after a fight.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police believe 2 suspects may have escaped in a white vehicle.
