Man shot in neck, police search for shooter

In broad daylight, a man was shot in the neck outside a South Bend home.

Police received a shots fired call from the 200 block of East Fairview Avenue around 9:50 a.m. Friday morning.

The victim, a 41-year-old man who has not yet been identified, is currently listed in stable condition.

Police say there is a connection between the victim and the suspect and add they are confident the suspect will be caught.
