Man wears sign: Wife wanted

CORVALLIS, Ore. -- An 82-year-old Oregon man found the perfect way of letting people know that he's looking for a wife.

Sandy McCulloch wears a sign around his neck advertising his desire to get married again.

He says he was married and divorced three times before he turned 40 but he's changed since then and knows what he wants.

Now he says he's looking for the "perfect companion" and he has a simple plan on getting that.

"Ask for what you want, plainly and clearly. If you don't ask you will probably never receive," said McCulloch.

Sandy says sometimes he forgets he's wearing the sign but always remembers his criteria in a wife. She must be older than 60, love books, and have a sense of humor.
