Man wounded in shooting on W. Jefferson in South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A 32-year-old man was injured in a shooting that happened early Thursday in the 3800 block of W. Jefferson.

When officers arrived to the area, they found the victim with a wound to the leg. He was taken to the hospital and is stable.

The victim said he was approached by an unknown male driving a red sedan. The man shot the victim, then left.
