Managed Health Services honors South Bend Clinic

SOUTH BEND, IND. -- Managed Health Services (MHS), will honor The South Bend Clinic with a national award for providing quality care and clinical excellence to Hoosier children and adults enrolled in MHS' statewide health plans.

The South Bend Clinic will receive the Summit Award for Excellence in Care today at noon.

Managed Health Services will be presenting the Summit Award which is a national award for the exceptional care providing patients in Hoosier Healthwise, HIP, and Hoosier Care Connect.

It also will include a very brief plaque presentation in the Doctor's Lounge on the ground floor in the main building downtown at 211 North Eddy Street.

Each year MHS acknowledges physicians or groups of healthcare providers in the state of Indiana who exemplify exceptional performance in regard to Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) scores and quality measures.

This year, the South Bend Clinic's scores were exceptional, and they are given the Summit Award for their dedicated quality efforts by MHS and the MHS Quality Team.
