ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- A man's body was found in a field in St. Joseph County around 10 a.m. Tuesday, according to St. Joseph County Police.
The body of a white male in his late 20's to early 30's, approximately 5'8 to 5'10 was found in a field off Juniper Road between Osborne and Pierce.
The coroner removed the body from the scene.
Police have since cleared the scene.
The Metro Homicide Unit and Drug Investigations Unit were contacted about the investigation.
The body has not been identified and no cause of death has been determined.
St. Joseph County Police Assistant Chief Bill Thompson says an autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
