Maple Hill Golf liquidation sale

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Close to 1,500 Michiana golfers had a little taste of Spring Fever with golf on their minds at the Century Center this weekend.

This is the tenth year the Maple Hill Golf has held their liquidation sale at the Century Center.

The event featured of $1 million of golf merchandise from major manufacturers at bargain prices. Golf enthusiasts got to shop for golf clubs, golf bags, golf shoes to golf apparel among other items.

"What we do is buy in large volume," said Bob Kitchen, from Maple Hill Golf. "We buy for the entire winter season. We do golf shows every weekend and we've been doing this liquidation sale in South Bend for quite some time. We keep coming back because the turnout has been fantastic every year."

The two-day event wrapped up at 4 p.m. The organizers will be in Kalamazoo next weekend.
