MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Rain or shine hundreds came out to central park to participate in the freedom of choice march to have their voices heard in the community and continue the fight for pro-choice.
Community members held their pro-choice signs in one hand and an umbrella in the other today to march for a freedom of choice.
They made their voices loud and proud in downtown Mishawaka marching around the Mishawka river walk and gaining support from honking cars as they drove pas
Today’s march comes about a week before Indiana’s special session on July 25 which will determine how the state will proceed with abortion access in the future.
The organizers of today’s march say their goal is to make their voices heard all the way down to the statehouse ahead of the decision and make it known that the choice to choose is wanted by the community.
