At Saturday's Blue Gold game, fans will get a first good look at Marcus Freeman, who took over as Defensive Coordinator after Clark Lea left.
Freeman was one of the most sought after coordinators in the off season.
He came to Notre Dame from Cincinnati where he took the Bearcats scoring defense from 93rd in the country -- to 8th.
