Marian tops Washington in overtime to advance in sectionals

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The opening round of sectionals brought a rematch between Marian and Washington.
The Knights rolled past the Panthers in the final game of the regular season, but this matchup was much tougher. Washington led by eight heading into the final quarter, but Marian forced overtime and pulled out a 50-47 victory.
Zach Lattimer led the Knights with 14 points. Coley Quinn and Michael Hemingway added 12 and 7 apiece.
Marian will play Glenn in Friday's sectional semifinals at 6 p.m.
