PLYMOUTH, Ind. - On day four of Marshall County's 57th annual Blueberry Festival, they started a new tradition--choosing a special honoree to push the button lighting up a nearly 30-minute fireworks display.
After the lighting of hot air balloons, Sunday evening, September 3, the honoree, Jared Bond, the Hoosier Lottery Director of External Affairs, pressed the button, igniting a display of fireworks across the sky.
The thunderous display is a tradition likely to continue in Blueberry Festivals to come.
