MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind.--- Monday morning's severe weather caused damage in Marshall County as well. Some of that damage was at the Community Church of God in La Paz where part of the roof was blown off.
In Teegarden winds blew down trees and powerlines.
"It sounded like a freight train right beside my house," said Pamela Rice, who lives in Teegarden. "We have tracks nearby so we hear trains all the time but this was like it was in the room with me."
Rice says she's never seen anything like the damage caused by Monday's storm.
"I came out this morning and put the dogs out and looked around and thought ‘Well, this isn’t too bad,’ and had not paid attention to the fact that our lean-to was totally gone," said Rice. "Metal’s gone, wood’s gone, everything’s gone."
