Marshall County man arrested after drunk driving 100mph on US30

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- The Marshall County Sheriff's Department had a 27-year-old man behind bars this weekend after he was pulled over for going 100 miles per hour in a 60mph zone Saturday evening.
A Marshall County Deputy made the stop around 7:44 p.m. on July 12 after he spotted a driver, later identified as Jason A. Erne, of Warsaw, speeding through the area of US30, near Hawthorn Road.
"It was found that Erne had been drinking. He was given field sobriety tests and a certified test. Erne tested at .12 percent BAC and was arrested for Operating a vehicle While Intoxicated and Reckless Driving," the MCSD said.
"He was taken to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked on the charges and he was given a court date and a cash bond of $1500.
