33rd Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Community Service Breakfast, Day of Celebration Jan. 21

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The community is invited to attend The Martin Luther King. Jr. Community Service Breakfast and Day of Celebration to honor the legacy of the late Dr. King.

On Jan. 21 from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., The Martin Luther Jr. Foundation of St. Joseph County will join South Bend Heritage to host the 33rd Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration at the Century Center.

Ticket costs are $25 per adult, $10 for children aged 5-12, children aged four and under are free. Tickets can be purchased at Eventbrite or by downloading a registration form.

The celebration will include a Memorial March, Community Service Recognition Breakfast, keynote speakers, singing, performances, exhibits, vendors, workshops, awards and a Community Service Recognition Breakfast.

The Drum Major Community Service Award will be presented by South Bend and Mishawaka mayors in recognition of exemplary individuals who donated their time and services to improve St. Joseph County.

Tickets to the breakfast will cover meal costs and additional proceeds will be used to support the day’s celebration as well as scholarships for local students.
