Martin’s Super Markets offering veterans free meals, storewide discount

All 20 of Martin’s Super Markets locations in Michiana are honoring active, retired and discharged US military veterans with a free meal on Veteran’s Day from 10 am to 2 pm.

The meal includes two pieces of fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, coleslaw, a roll, a 16 oz. beverage and a cookie.

Veterans can snag an 11% discount too on sale and regular priced items on Nov. 10 and 11. Some exclusions may apply, head into Martin’s for details.

“We are looking forward to recognizing those who have served our country and protected our freedom on this special day,” said Doug Dillman, vice president, Regional Operations, Martin’s Super Markets. “Included in that group will be our own Martin’s employee veterans who have given so much to our country and our company,” he said.

In addition to the meal and discount, veterans are encouraged to enter to win one of three Martin’s $50 gift cards.
