Massachusetts police officer killed in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The Indianapolis Police Department is investigating the death of an out-of-state police officer.

Sean Cooney, 27,  of a Massachusetts police department was killed on Thursday night after trying to break-up a fight on St. Clair Street when he either fell or was hit. He later died at the hospital.

Cooney was in Indiana to help organize a friend's funeral.
