SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Mayor Pete Buttigieg was a featured speaker in IUSB’s Art Lecture Series on Monday.
Mayor Buttigieg reflected on his experiences in college, the military, politics, and his love for music.
He explained what he expects from past and present students and the impact they have on the Michiana community as a whole.
“My biggest take away is that you got a lot of students here at IU South Bend who are engaged, they're thinking about the community and the country around them. You can tell they're very dialed in on the issues. The better we're doing, the more we'll have students that are here choosing to stay, choosing to try to meet whatever goals they have in life right here in South Bend.” Mayor Pete stated.
