SOUTH BEND, Ind.—Mayor Pete Buttigieg was live in studio on Thursday morning to discuss the latest shootings in South Bend.
In response to his recent tweets about South Bend’s four shootings in three days, Buttigieg says the message of his tweet is that tweeting is not enough.
“This is all hands on deck. The entire community has a role in this issue,” Buttigieg said.
Buttigieg invites community members to attend the Mayor’s Night Out event on Thursday evening from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at the Charles Black Recreation Center, located at 3419 W. Washington Street to discuss issues in a one-on-one setting.
