SOUTH BEND, Ind. – South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg threw out the first pitch at the South Bend Cubs game against the Dayton Dragons.
Mayor Buttigieg was accompanied by his soon-to-be husband Chasten Glezman Thursday evening.
It was Pride Night at Four Winds Field, the same venue where the pair had their first date.
The couple is set to wed this Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at the Cathedral of Saint James Episcopal Church.
The ceremony will be livestreamed on the church’s Youtube account.
Mayor Buttigieg will not be in attendance at the Indiana Democratic Party State Convention in Indianapolis.
