BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- The Michigan Department of Transportation announced it has partnered with the Michigan Department of Management and Budget in an effort to improve the state's online auction sales of excess real estate.

There are currently four excess property parcels available to bid for online until July 3, including one in Berrien County.

To bid on properties, you must create a free account on Michigan DTMB's new MiBid website.

Users who already have a MiLogin profile to access other state services do not need to make a new one.

All auction items are publicly viewable online.
