Medical problems to blame for fatal accident

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - A medical problem is to blame for a deadly accident Sunday morning in St. Joseph County.
The crash happened around 6:30am on Buckeye Road, just north of Douglas. The pickup truck the man was driving went off the side of the road and hit several trees.
The victim, from Elkhart, was 51-years-old. His name has not been released. Alcohol, drugs, and speed do not appear to be factors in the crash.
