A fire in South Bend leaves building ablaze
GOSHEN, Ind. – The Meijer Pharmacy received enough federal shots from the state and the federal government to vaccinate 1,200 patients on Thursday.
The pharmacy hopes to expand rapidly, with the impending release of the new one-dose vaccine from Johnson and Johnson.
"We do hope to have larger clinics in the future,” stated Sam Champion, a Meijer Pharmacist, “The Johnson & Johnson shot won’t require the follow-up dosing that the other ones do, but we’re excited to get any vaccine to help keep customers safe and patients safe.”
The vaccine clinic at the Meijer store in Goshen is open through Friday and still has appointments available for eligible Hoosiers through their website.
