Friday is a real mess, rain, slush, snow and wind. There is high confidence on this being a sloppy mess, but exact snow totals will be difficult to not only forecast but verify as there will be heavy wet snow and melting at the same time. The greatest impact will be 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. When a burst of heavy snow and the strongest wind -- gusts topping 40 mph -- are possible. High temperatures midday will be key. The closer the 40, the wetter the forecast, and closer to 35, the snowier. This storm clears quickly, the weekend is fair with warming temperatures.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low 34.
Friday: Rain/snow and windy. High 39.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy. High 42.
Sunday: Partly cloudy. High 46.
