The Mess starts with rain changing to slushy, heavy snow overnight. Most the snow is on the ground by 6:00 AM. Plan for three to four inches of slush to start the day. The snow ends mid-morning, and the snow melts off the roads, with an afternoon high in the mid-30s.
Friday afternoon and Saturday are snow-free but chilly. There's another chance of snow Sunday but may only be flurries. The forecast stays fairly chilly through the middle of next, highs struggle to break 40.
Tonight: Wet heavy snow. Low 32.
Friday: Snow ending by mid-morning. High 35.
Saturday: Partly cloudy. High 36.
Sunday: Snow showers. High 38
