Metro Homicide continues investigation into overnight shooting

Metro Homicide is continuing their investigation into a shooting that happened early Saturday morning near Patty Lane in South Bend.

The call came in just after 4:00 a.m. Saturday.

South Bend Police and Mishawaka Police responded to the Corby Homes Apartment complex after receiving a call about a shooting that happened there.

Police say 25-year-old Terrance Harris was the shooting victim in the incident who was rushed to the hospital.

During a press conference Saturday, police said Harris was in the hospital with life-threatening conditions but has since improved.

The St. Joe County Metro Homicide Unit is still seeking 23-year-old Marshaum Givens as a person of interest in this investigation.
