With warm conditions on the way you might see Michiana's trails start to be flooded with bikers. To ring in the season, it's Michiana Bike to Work week.
The week-long event does just have activities for everyone to do this week, but through the GO574 app, there will be challenges all through-out the month.
Biking to work is a great way to get some exercise and be environmentally conscious, but Dustin New, chairperson for Michiana Bike to Work week, says you don't have to bike the entire way into work.
Events through the rest of the week include:
- Wednesday - South Bend Bike Shop Open House - 119 W Wayne Street, South Bend - 5-8 PM
- Thursday - Connect 574 Bikes and Brews - The Lauber - Ride starts at 6:30 PM
- Friday - Howard Park Night Ride - 9PM
