Michiana couple gets hitched on Halloween at Niles Scream Park

Halloween is known for trick or treating and folks seeking spooks and thrills.

But one Michiana couple chose the holiday to mark the start of a special journey.

Samantha McClanahan and James Bradbury are not your average couple.

The two, Monday night, doing way more than taking the kids trick or treating.

“I’ve always been the bridesmaid and never the bride,” said McClanahan.

Bradbury wanted to change all of that.

So the South Bend native proposed to McClanahan on her favorite holiday.

“I proposed on her favorite holiday, the fourth of July,” said Bradbury.

On this Halloween, Bradbury’s favorite holiday, these two said ‘I do’.

“I look at him and I’m so lucky he’s mine forever,” said McClanahan.

“I can’t explain it. This morning my heart just dropped. I’ve never felt this way before, said Bradbury .

For family and friends, this wedding is anything but ordinary for a couple who took the road less traveled.

Superheroes for a day, partners for life and a tale with a happy ending.
