DOWAGIAC, Mich. – A prominent member of a natural disaster response non-profit is heeding the call to deliver gear and help evacuate victims of the Midland County dam breaks.
Brian Altisdale, a Dowagiac native, often travels the country for his camera equipment business while playing an active role in United Cajun Navy, which has contributed to evacuations and aftermath relief efforts of numerous natural disasters in the last several years, primarily across the gulf coast region.
In the video above, you’ll see why Altisdale found it imperative to immediately hit the road from his day job duties in Hot Springs, Arkansas this week to Midland and help vulnerable residents, stopping only to nap for three hours in Dowagiac and speak to ABC 57.
