PLYMOUTH, Ind. – A woman in Plymouth has opened up her Caring Cupboards pantries for those in need on Sunday.

Rebecca Palmer began working on the idea last year, hoping to help those in the area who needed a food pantry 24/7.

She has re-purposed old newspaper racks into emergency food pantries that can be accessed by anyone in need.

One of the first of the Caring Cupboards is located at the Plymouth Fire Department.

People can donate nonperishable food, cleaning supplies, baby needs and even pet food.
