Michigan court of appeals turns over home invasion conviction

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- The state of Michigan's court of appeals overturned the conviction of Decarlos Hureskin.

He appealed his conviction of first degree home invasion.

This stems from an incident that happened three years ago in Benton Harbor.

He was accused of breaking into his ex-wife's home, and beating her and her mother.

He will be given the right to a new trial.
