Michigan emergency manager law under review

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- In the next few weeks Michigan election officials will be looking over the hundreds of thousands of signatures collected that support the end of "emergency financial managers."

If enough valid signatures were indeed collected, The 1-year-old law would be suspended and the issue would go on the November ballot.

State-appointed emergency managers, are now running four Michigan cities, including Benton Harbor

For years folks there have been against having Emergency Financial Manager Joe Harris in power.
