Michigan has 1,097,129 COVID-19 cases, 21,744 deaths

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported 7,108 new cases* of COVID-19, and 135 new deaths**.

*Today's daily case count represents confirmed cases over two days (Tuesday & Wednesday). The average number of new cases is 3,554 per day.

**Deaths announced today includes 78 deaths identified during a Vital Records review. 

The state has a total of 1,097,129 COVID-19 cases, 21,744 deaths, 962,955 recovered, and 10,120,248 vaccine doses administered***. 

  • Berrien Co.: 16,889 confirmed cases, 308 deaths, 144,320 vaccine doses administered
  • Cass Co.: 6,085 cases, 83 deaths, 34,403 vaccine doses administered
  • St. Joseph Co.:  7,288 cases, 111 deaths, 45,989 vaccine doses administered
  • Van Buren Co.: 8,456 cases, 145 deaths, 73,933 vaccine doses administered
