Michigan has 1,104,634 COVID-19 cases, 21,862 deaths

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported 7,505 new cases* of COVID-19, and 118 new deaths**.

*Today's daily case count represents confirmed cases over two days (Thursday & Friday). The average number of new cases is 3,752 per day.

**Deaths announced today includes 69 deaths identified during a Vital Records review. 

The state has a total of 1,104,634 COVID-19 cases, 21,862 deaths, 962,955 recovered, and 10,145,967 vaccine doses administered***. 

  • Berrien Co.: 16,979 confirmed cases, 309 deaths, 144,642 vaccine doses administered
  • Cass Co.: 6,123 cases, 83 deaths, 34,533 vaccine doses administered
  • St. Joseph Co.:  7,356 cases, 112 deaths, 46,138 vaccine doses administered
  • Van Buren Co.: 8,545 cases, 148 deaths, 74,222 vaccine doses administered
