Michigan has 1,172,800 COVID-19 cases, 22,684 deaths

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported 6,283 new cases* of COVID-19, and 163 new deaths**.

*Today's daily case count represents confirmed cases over two days (Tuesday & Wednesday). The average number of new cases is 3,142 per day.

**Deaths announced today includes 88 deaths identified during a Vital Records review. 

The state has a total of 1,172,800 COVID-19 cases, 22,684 deaths,1,026,195 recovered, and 10,285,350 vaccine doses administered***. 

  • Berrien Co.: 17,779 confirmed cases, 313 deaths, 146,801 vaccine doses administered
  • Cass Co.: 6,430 cases, 87 deaths, 35,168 vaccine doses administered
  • St. Joseph Co.:  7,841 cases, 113 deaths, 46,962 vaccine doses administered
  • Van Buren Co.: 9,095 cases, 153 deaths, 75,517 vaccine doses administered
