Michigan medical group to stop hiring nicotine users

DETROIT, Mich. -- A large Michigan medical group is raising eyebrows with a new controversial plan.
Starting July 1, the Detroit Medical Center said it will stop hiring people who use nicotine.
Under the nicotine-free hiring policy, all applicants will have to complete a nicotine screening.
