St. Joseph County Police arrest Michigan murder suspect on US 20 bypass

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.— A suspect in a murder that occurred in Michigan was arrested in Mishawaka on May 14, according to the St. Joseph County Sheriff.

On Thursday morning, the St. Joseph County Police Department learned that the suspect in a murder investigation in Holland Township, Michigan was traveling east on the U.S. 20 bypass near S.R. 2.

St. Joseph County patrol officers and officers with the Mishawaka Police Department located the suspect vehicle and conducted a traffic stop on the bypass near Elm Road.

The suspect, David McCoy, 31 of Holland, was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of a stolen vehicle. He was taken to the St. Joseph County Jail.
