MICHIGAN.-Michigan is now the 49th state to no longer require stores to put price tags on every individual item.
For decades, business owners had to do this because it was state law, but now, they're only required to display prices close to items.
Governor Snyder wanted legislatures to get rid of tags. He said they were unnecessary, and discouraged new business. He also says they also cost customers billions of dollars a year.
