Michigan now offering adult education services locators

To assist all Michiganders with adult education opportunities, the Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO) has announced a new online tool, the Adult Education Services Locator.

With this tool users can conduct custom searches and identify a variety of programs, resources and high school equivalency testing centers statewide.

LEO’s Director of the Office of Employment and Training, Stephanie Beckhorn stated that “there are more than 100 approved adult education programs in Michigan, and the new Adult Education Services Locator tool makes it easier than ever for Michiganders in all 83 counties to find nearby programs to continue their education.”

Utilizing this tool will allows more than 15,000 Michiganders without a diploma to make educational progress annually, creating pathways to better jobs and financial stability, stated LEO.
