WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Congressman Fred Upton of Michigan’s 6th District tested positive for COVID-19 on March 15, 2022.
In a public statement via Twitter, Upton stated his intent to isolate per CDC guidelines, but that he will be keeping up to date with current events.
This includes Ukrainian president Volodomyr Zelensky’s address to Congress. Congressman Upton says he’ll be paying close attention, calling it one of the “most consequential sessions” since he was elected.
According to Upton’s representatives, all three of his offices will remain open and ready to help Southwest Michigan as he recovers.
