Michigan State Police urging drivers to stay off I-94

Michigan State Police are urging drivers to stay off I-94 as blizzard conditions worsen in the area.
Drivers are asked to stay off the road between New Buffalo and Battle Creek while crews clear crashes.
Indiana State Police troopers are on scene of a rollover tanker on I-94 at the 24.2 mile-marker (Burns Harbor exit).
The crash is a hazardous material situation and troopers do not know when the scene will be clear.
As of 3 p.m., I-94 is closed at exit 4 in Niles.
Law enforcement do not know when I-94 will be back open.
