Michigan students eat apples like it's their job

MICHIGAN -- Some Michigan students may have just eaten their way into the record books!
Check this out! Six schools in Muskegon County all ate a Michigan apple this week all at the same time!
The official numbers have not been released yet, but organizers believe as many as 8,000 kids joined in on the collective snacking.
In addition to making history, school officials say it is a fun way to encourage kids to eat local, healthy foods.
