Michigan troopers raise money for Toys for Tots

GRAND HAVEN, Mich. -- After a month of not shaving, some Michigan state troopers have some pretty unique mustaches.

It was all part of "no shave Movember" which usually draws awareness to for men's health but up in Grand Haven the state troopers put a different spin on it. They put down the razor to raise money for Toys for Tots.

Female judges picked winners based on several mustache categories including the "Ned Flanders", the "Bert Reynolds", and "the old man's grey mustache".

"I didn't win a very flattering award but I still won an award but it was all in fun for the holidays and to raise toys, money for the Toys for Tots," said Captain David Roesler.

The toys the state police collected will help local families but there's still a huge need.

You can donate to the cause for the next few weeks.
