Michigan's Adventure park getting jump start to spring cleaning

WHITEHALL, Mich. -- Weeks earlier than normal, workers are putting a shine on the Michigan’s Adventure amusement park.

Usually around this time crews are pushing snow and waiting for warm weather before bringing the park out of hibernation so the park will be clean, up and running for opening day.

"Normally there is four or five inches of ice still, and that could take another month for it to go out,” said a Michigan's Adventure employee.

Opening day for the park is May 24.
