Middlebury bicyclist hit by truck

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- A Middlebury man riding his bike was hit by a pick-up truck Monday morning.
This happened along County Road 35 near County Road 20, just before 4:30 a.m.
The Elkhart County Sheriff's Department said both the bike and the truck were traveling north along County Road 35.
Deputies said the truck went off the road and collided with the back wheel of the bike.
The 34 year-old bicyclist was taken to the hospital with broken bones and a brain bleed.
The 17 year-old truck driver was uninjured.
